The Haddington Business Association (HBA) is the official voice of the town’s traders. We work tirelessly to make sure that Haddington remains a bustling and interesting place in which to shop.
We believe that a vibrant main street, full of locally-owned businesses, is the key ingredient that brings a town to life. We hope that this Shop Haddington website will help to secure the town’s shopping heritage and allow it to grow. We don’t want to see the town centre go the way of so many similar bits of Britain – we believe that shoppers deserve something more interesting than faceless, out-of-town developments that offer nothing unique or regional in character.
We provide a forum for Haddington’s traders, manufacturers and professionals to meet and communicate with each other, in order to improve and secure the trading and commercial interests of the town. Our activities include:
Membership of the HBA is open to any business in Haddington. Anyone wishing to join should contact Pat Lemmon at The Toy Box, 9 High Street, Haddington EH41 3ES (Tel: 01620 829833).
Would you like to be part of a group that is concerned with keeping Haddington Town Centre alive and economically viable? A group that helps provide a voice for local businesses to enable them to be more involved and aware of local plans, then join us.
